Favorite products of the moment

1. Schwarzkopf shampoo Cream & Oil
A shampoo for hair with split-ends with Argan Oil and Vanilla blossem. Comes in a bottle from 400 ml. I really like the smell of this shampoo and it makes my hair feel soft and nice.

It restores and conditions the hair to the core:
- Build damaged hair and reduces hair breakage
- Seals the hair fibers and repairs split ends
- For more resistance, flexibility and gloss

2. Niveau bodylotion for under the shower
You just put this on like a showercream. It's really quick in use and makes your skin really soft. I love it!

3. Gosh minérale eye shadow
I'm not really an eye shadow person, but I really like these ones from Gosh. They give a subtle look.

001 mat (primer)
008 violet
007 light blue
003 brown

4. Garnier hydrating day & night cream
The suvstance feels smooth and it's not difficult to apply on your face. It feels good on the skin and I like the smell. It makes my face feel really fresh.

5. Prodent White Now Toothpaste
You just need a little bit toothpaste and it tastes really fresh.

Reunion - Amsterdam

Yesterday I went to Amsterdam to meet my friends I know from the time I lived in Málaga, Spain. A Japanese friend was here for a few days, so she wanted to meet with all of her Dutch friends. It was really nice to meet them all again! We showed her some nice and funny places in Amsterdam (like the canals, Dam square and the red light district) and we let her taste a few tipical Dutch products (Dutch Herring with onions, cheese, Heineken and 'bitterballen'). She liked everything! She also gave us something to taste from her own country: green Japanese KitKat. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the KitKat yet, because it probably contains lactose, but I will try next week when my lactose-free period is finally over! It looks like this:

It was a really nice day and we had lots of fun in Amsterdam. It felt like old times again and we should meet more often!

MUSIC

Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty
Dance, dance, dance! :) I really like the arabic-style bits of music in there.

John Legend - All Of Me
I just love this song.

Khaled - Cést La Vie
This song makes me happy.

DJ Antoine - Ma Cherie

Holiday (2012) memories with this one.

Will And The People - Friends
¡Friends!

Little Mix - Move

Thanks to my niece and her blog (Vera).

No milk | week 3

I found lactose-free milk. It's from Campina and it tastes just like normal milk! It tried the right one on the picture. It's available in most supermarkets.

Just take a look here if you want to know more about their lactose-free products and selling points.

It's been a long time...

I was doing groceries and as I was walking through the store I sudenly saw my favorite drink from my time in Málaga, Spain: tinto de verano! It's a really nice fresh red wine, which comes from the southern parts of Spain. There are two different versions. I love the one with lemon, but the original one tastes good as well. I am sooo excited, because now I can buy it in a store that's pretty close to me! :) If you're lucky to be living close to me, you should definitly go to the Albert Heijn in Wielwijk Dordrecht (admiraalsplein). If not, you can look here for more locations.

No milk | week 2

So I survived the second week too! It's just a little bit sad that I don't notice any difference so far. But the fact that I can't eat/drink lactose makes me creative with food and that's a good thing. I've turned 21 last friday and it was a challenge not to eat lots of delicious foods. But I looked for little party snacks that were lactose-free, so I could eat nice things as well.

No milk | week 1

It's been a week now and I must say it's pretty damn hard. Not being able to eat lots of things I love. For example: yesterday I was craving for a Kinder Bueno, because they are sooo delicious, but I shouldn't eat them. I wanted that Kinder Bueno so bad, but I resisted the temptation.
Also, I ate lots of cheese. But I shouldn't eat my beloved "jong belegen" cheese anymore... that makes me a little bit sad, because that's also soo delicious. I'm glad I CAN eat old Amsterdammer (also a cheese, but older so it's okay), so I don't have to live without any cheese at all.

There are special product available for people with lactose intolerance. All the products from Alpro for instance. This week I was getting used to the flavour of Alpro products, which is a bit different than normal yoghurt/milk/etc. I've tried 1) mild&creamy strawberry 2) mild&creamy vanilla and 3) blauwe bosbes yoghurtvariatie (blueberry yoghurtvariation).

1) mild&creamy strawberry
I had to get used to the taste, but now I think it's a good substitute for yoghurt with strawberry taste.

2) mild&creamy vanilla
Good substitute for yoghurt with vanilla taste. I used it with some Cruesli (from Quacker) and it tasted really good.

3) blauwe bosbes yoghurtvariatie (blueberry yoghurtvariation)

Although the color is really purple, it tasted super! From all these 3 products, this is my favorite!

So, I survived this week. Let's see if I will make it through the next one.

Louboutin nails

Last week I tried the Louboutin nails. I saw them somewhere and I thought it looked pretty cool.

And so it came that I tried them for myself last week. I have one important tip for you: make sure your nails are long enough so that you can see the redness easily. Also, use a bright red color, so it will pop out. (I used color riche 404 scarlet vamp from L'Oréal and I think this one was to0 dark ).

No milk

4 weeks without milk

I went to the doctor monday to tell him about my stomach aches. He told me that I might have lactose intolerance and that I should try not to eat or drink any lactose for 4 weeks to see if I'm lactose intolerant. So that means no milk, no cheese for this cheeselover, no icecream and lots of "no more's" for me. I'm a little bit sad about that, because there are so many delicious things with lactose or milk as an ingredient. It had just been a couple of days now, but now I see. It must be pretty hard if you're lactose intolerant. I'm looking at this as a challenge and a way to experience how it is to be lactose-intolerant. Wish me luck! And if you have any (food)tips, please let me know!
